Over nearly ten years at the New York Times, I wrote articles and produced videos on topics ranging from covert mercenary armies in the middle east to the rare pleasures of diving boards at city pools. No matter what the subject, I pride myself on being able to hone in on the human elements that ultimately drive people to do what they do. I have a passion for stories that bring attention to underserved populations, or that shine a light on issues which typically go unnoticed in the news cycle.
